Manassero in Singapore play-off
Italian teenager Matteo Manassero and South African Louis Oosthuizen went into a sudden death play-off at the Singapore Open on Sunday.
If Oosthuizen lost it, Rory McIlroy was certain to win this season's European Tour money list title.
World number one McIlroy, with the PGA Tour crown in America already his, stormed through to third place at Sentosa with a closing 30-foot eagle putt for a 65.
He finished three behind, Oosthuizen's pitch to a foot on the long 18th being followed by 19-year-old Manassero two-putting for a matching birdie.
They were 13 under par after shooting 67 and 69 respectively.
Fourth place was taken by Dane Thomas Bjorn, with Italian Francesco Molinari and Australian Adam Scott, a three-time champion at the event, joint fifth.
Both birdied the first extra hole, Oosthuizen making a seven-foot putt after over-hitting his 35-foot attempt to win after Manassero had chipped to two feet from just off the green.
