Martin makes Birmingham move
Birmingham boss Lee Clark has strengthened his defence by signing former Southampton centre-half Aaron Martin on a short-term deal.
The 24-year-old, who was out of contract, joins Birmingham until the end of the season, following Swansea's decision to recall Kyle Bartley from St Andrews.
Martin began his footballing career with non-league side Eastleigh, before joining Southampton in November 2009.
During his time with the Saints, the Isle of Wight-born stopper made 29 first-team appearances and scored two goals.
Martin is likely to go straight into the Blues squad for this weekend's Championship match with Derby.
