McCormack 'happy' at Leeds

Leeds United skipper Ross McCormack has pledged his future to the club after interest from two Premier League clubs during the current transfer window.

West Ham United and Cardiff City made bids for the player - the latter for a fee of 4m - who has scored 19 goals in 33 appearances so far this season.

Sunderland were also interested in the Scotland international, but he has confirmed he will be staying at Elland Road until the end of the season.

"I am really happy at Leeds and look forward to staying at the club," he said.

"I'm club captain and I look forward to continue playing at the club under Brian McDermott for the rest of the season."
