McCormick interest mounts

Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are tracking Plymouth Argyle goalkeeper Luke McCormick.

McCormick has impressed this season at Home Park after establishing himself as the No.1 keeper since his arrival on a free transfer last May.

The 30-year-old, who has made 24 appearances this term , is out of contract at the end of the season after signing a one-year deal when he returned to Plymouth.

The news has alerted a host of clubs to McCormick's possible availability and they are actively monitoring his contract situation.

McCormick's agent, Clive Hart, admits he would not be surprised if other clubs were interested in the keeper, but insists he is happy at Plymouth.

"It would be no surprise that other clubs are looking at Luke as he has been in superb form this season," said Hart.

"Luke is enjoying his football at Plymouth and is happy to be back playing where he started his career.

"Luke signed a one-year deal last summer and we will see what happens regards his long-term future."
