McDowell on the rise after win

Graeme McDowell has climbed ten places in the latest world rankings after his first tournament victory for two years at the World Challenge.

The Northern Irishman won the Tiger Woods-hosted event in California by three shots from Keegan Bradley - his first triumph since winning the same event in 2010.

The success sees McDowell rise from world number 24 to 14, ahead of the likes of Phil Mickelson and Steve Stricker.

Meanwhile, Germany's Martin Kaymer has moved up four places to number 28 after emerging victorious at the Ned Bank Golf Challenge over the weekend.

The German held his nerve to complete a two-stroke win, his first since capturing the HSBC Champions event just over 12 months ago.
