The world number one's expected move from Titleist to the same sponsors as Tiger Woods has been on the cards for months, with reports even speculating that it will be a 10-year deal worth over £150million to the 23-year-old Northern Irishman.
Earlier this week Dubai-based hotel group Jumeirah confirmed they were severing ties with McIlroy, one of the hottest properties in sport after his eight-shot victories at the 2011 US Open and 2012 USPGA Championship.
