Meandre maintained his sharp ascent with victory in the Group One Grosser Preis von Berlin at Hoppegarten.
Andre Fabre's colt claimed the scalp of King George heroine Danedream at Saint-Cloud on his last outing and again showed great poise at the German circuit.
Maxime Guyon's partner was in third place for much of the mile-and-a-half journey as Earl Of Tinsdal took them along at a decent pace.
Guyon got serious as the field swung for home and Meandre responded gamely inside the final furlong and a half to earn quotes of around 12-1 for the Arc.
Earl Of Tinsdal finished an honourable second.
Last year's Grosser Preis von Berlin winner was none other than Danedream.
