Barcelona have revealed that Lionel Messi suffered a bruised left knee in their 0-0 Champions League draw with Benfica.
Messi was taken off on a cart late in the Champions League match, having collided with goalkeeper Artur Moraes and then twisted awkwardly when trying to curl a shot into the net in the 84th minute.
In an article on their official website, Barca said further tests would be required before a timescale could be put on any absence for the Argentinian forward.
He had only come on as a 58th minute substitute with Barcelona already assured of their progress from Group G.

if hes out for a while we will finally get to see just how good they are without him...after the mansger said they eerent a one trick pony.....
