Middlesbrough target Doyle
Middlesbrough are in advanced talks with Wolves over striker Kevin Doyle, Sky Sports understands.
The 30-year-old was targeted by Boro earlier this month and they are keen on sealing a loan switch for the Republic of Ireland international.
Middlesbrough have already sanctioned a loan deal for Lukas Jutkiewicz to join Bolton, which will free up space for head coach Aitor Karanka to bring in at least one new forward this week.
Wolves are open to the prospect of Doyle, who is their highest earner, leaving Molineux this month and Boro are favourites to land him.
However, his former club Reading and Ipswich are among a number of other Championship clubs who are also keen.
