Middlesex have confirmed promising young batsman Sam Robson has signed a new contract to stay until 2014.
The Australian made his first-class debut for the county back in 2009 as a 19-year-old and has made 43 appearances since - accumulating runs at a batting average close to 40.
Middlesex managing director and former England quick Angus Fraser said: "We are delighted that Sam has agreed to sign a contract extension with the Club.
"Sam has made real progress in the last two to three years and we believe he has a long and bright future with Middlesex.
"Sam is one of a group of young cricketers to have committed himself to Middlesex and we hope these players continue to take the club in the right direction and allow it to compete for domestic honours in the coming years."
