Millward to return to Australia
Former St Helens, Wigan, Castleford and Leigh boss Ian Millward has been appointed as head coach of Illawarra Cutters.
Millward, 53, who lost his job at Castleford 11 matches into the 2013 Super League season, played and coached at the Cutters before leaving for England in 1999.
He also coached in Australia at North Queensland Cowboys and Canberra Raiders but enjoyed his most successful spell during six years at Saints, where he won two Grand Finals, two Challenge Cups and a World Club Challenge.
His assistant at the Cutters will be former Hull and Wigan forward Scott Logan, who was coached by Millward at Wigan and Canberra.
Cutters chairman Sean O'Connor said: "Both the Dragons and Cutters have recruited well for next season and I am sure that Ian and Scott will bring the best out of the players."
