Milner signs Castleford deal
Hooker Adam Milner has signed a two-year contract extension that will keep him at Castleford until the end of 2016.
The 21-year-old, who had a year remaining on his existing contract, has been rewarded for a successful season in which he has scored seven tries in 20 Super League appearances.
Milner admits he had no hesitation in signing a new contract as he feels his game is developing under Tigers head coach Daryl Powell and assistant Danny Orr.
"As soon as I got the contract offer I didn't think twice about signing it," Milner said. "I'm really happy about staying here for the next three years.
"The coaching staff that we have in Daryl Powell and Danny Orr have been massive for us and that, together with the players that we have, make me believe that the club is going places."
Powell said: "It is crucial that we retain the young players are that developed through our system and go on to play in the first team.
"Adam Milner is a player who is a significant part of the future. His best years are ahead of him and I am confident he will be pressing to play at the highest level during that time."
