Miss perfect for Fabre
Andre Fabre took Newmarket's Aqlaam Oh So Sharp Stakes with 7/2 chance Miss France.
Fabre tends to only send horses to Britain if they hold a winning chance and Miss France (7/2) looked a high-class filly as she swept up the rail under a confident Mickael Barzalona to pinch the Group Three from Lightning Thunder by a head.
The 11/10 favourite Radiator, so impressive in a Lingfield maiden, was only fourth.
"She just has a lot of class - she's different class," said Barzalona.
"We went a nice pace and quickened early. Everything I asked her to do she did very easily on the bridle.
"It's job done today. I think she's a great filly."
Miss France is 12-1 with Ladbrokes for next year's 1000 Guineas and Anthony Stroud, representing Ballymore Thoroughbred Ltd, said: "That will be up to Andre and the owners. She's a very nice filly and I don't think she'll run again this season."
