MK Dons v Crewe preview
Team news for Saturday afternoon's League One clash between MK Dons and Crewe Alexandra at Stadium:MK.
MK Dons hope to have skipper Dean Lewington back.
Lewington suffered a knee injury as the Dons got their League One campaign under way against Shrewsbury last weekend and missed the Capital One Cup tie at Northampton on Tuesday night. The left-back will undergo a fitness test ahead of the game. Daniel Powell, however, will definitely not feature. The winger faces more than two months on the sidelines after damaging ankle ligaments last week in a training match. Dean Bowditch also remains out of action, although the forward's groin complaint should not rule him out for too much longer.
Crewe's Mathias Pogba is expected to be out for at least three months after undergoing surgery on a knee injury.
The striker, who was the club's top scorer last season, suffered medial ligament and cartilage damage in a pre-season friendly and he went under the knife after the problem was worse than first feared. Boss Steve Davis told the club's website: "Having the operation was the right thing to do because we needed the surgeon to have a look at what the trauma has caused. "It doesn't matter at whatever level you play at, it is always a huge blow to lose your leading goalscorer. It would be the same if Robin van Persie was out injured at United. "We are all gutted for Mathias and it will be difficult to fill in what we gave us with the power, strength and the goals we got for us."
