Montreal advance in play-offs

The Montreal Canadiens claimed a 3-1 Game Seven win over the Boston Bruins in the TD Garden to advance to the NHL's Eastern Conference Final.

Carey Price made 29 saves while Dale Weise, Max Pacioretty and Daniel Briere were all on target for the Canadiens, who completed a comeback after trailing 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.

The Canadiens will now face the New York Rangers in the Eastern Conference Final.

Out west, the Los Angeles Kings forced a deciding Game Seven in their own series as they beat the Anaheim Ducks 2-1.

Trevor Lewis and Jake Muzzin scored for the Kings, with Kyle Palmieri took advantage of a mistake from goaltender Jonathan Quick to score for Anaheim.

The Chicago Blackhawks await the winners of Friday's Game Seven.
