Morecambe v Newport preview
Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Morecambe and Newport County at the Globe Arena.
Ryan Edwards is a certain absentee for Morecambe against Newport after undergoing an operation on a fractured finger.
New forward Paul Mullin is pushing for a start after coming off the bench for the last 30 minutes in both of Jim Bentley's side's matches in the new campaign, after joining from Huddersfield.
Bentley has no other injury concerns and has the majority of his squad to choose from.
He may opt to stick with the side which beat Dagenham 3-0 on the opening day, including Kevin Ellison, Padraig Amond and Jack Redshaw who found the net at the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham Stadium.
Newport boss Justin Edinburgh is set to stick with his new formation when his side make the trip.
The Exiles boss switched to 4-3-3 for the second half of their 2-0 defeat to Wycombe last Saturday and then kept that tactical set-up for the 3-1 loss at Reading.
That means the back three of Darren Jones, Kevin Feely and Ismail Yakubu look set to keep their places against the Shrimps.
Captain Andy Sandell and last season's top scorer Chris Zebroski were not risked against the Royals as the pair were carrying knocks but Edinburgh is hopeful they will return to action on Saturday.
