Mozoltov primed for chasing

Willie Mullins unleashes another smart prospect as Mozoltov makes his debut over fences at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

Third to stablemate Champagne Fever in the champion bumper at the 2012 Punchestown Festival, Mozoltov was subsequently unbeaten in two starts over timber, most recently seeing off Drinmore winner Don Cossack in the Grade Two Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle in February.

The seven-year-old has been off the track since then and now embarks on a career over the bigger obstacles in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase, with Davy Russell taking the ride for owners Gigginstown House Stud.

Mullins said: "Mozoltov is in good form and schools well at home. The ground should be fine for him and if he brings his hurdle form over fences, he probably sets the standard. Hopefully he has a safe round of jumping."
