No problems at Kempton

Officials at Kempton are not anticipating any problems ahead of the twilight fixture later this afternoon.

Wednesday's meetings at Kempton and Lingfield had to be abandoned due to heavy fog in the London area, but Kempton's clerk of the course Barney Clifford is pleased to report conditions have improved significantly.

Clifford said: "We're fine this morning. We have no problems at all.

"We could have raced from 6.30pm last night, to be honest, but we weren't fit for racing at the time of the inspection and had to abandon.

"There is some fog in the air, but we're not expecting any problems as far as racing goes later today."
