Nonu and Kaino to undergo scans
New Zealand stars Ma'a Nonu and Jerome Kaino are injury doubts ahead of Saturday's second Rugby Championship clash with Australia.
Centre Nonu and flanker Kaino will undergo scans on upper body injuries sustained during Saturday's opening 12-12 draw with the Wallabies in Sydney.
Coach Steve Hansen said the All Blacks will be "sweating on whether or not (Nonu) will be right next week" but Kaino's problem is thought to be less of a concern.
Better news for the world champions comes in the form of influential captain Richie McCaw, whose shoulder knock is not expected to keep him out of the return game at Eden Park, Auckland.
Experienced centre Conrad Smith is in line to return to the fold having missed the trip to Australia to be with his wife, who is expecting their first child.
