Norris targets promotion push
Leeds midfielder David Norris believes the ability to keep picking up points when the team is not at its best is vital to any promotion push.
Norris, fit again after missing six games due to a torn thigh muscle, is hoping Leeds, four points off the top two, can maintain their recent momentum after collecting 10 points from the last 12 available.
"There will be games we draw which we feel we should have won, like the Blackburn game which we should have won in the end," Norris told the club's official website. "But there's also games where we didn't play so well, but we picked up points, which is so typical of this league.
"I think we will be happy with where we are going into this second break so hopefully we can kick on now as well.
"The teams that will do well, that will be around the play-offs and the top two, will have done that throughout the season.
"If we want to have aspirations of being in and around those play-offs we're going to have to be the same. It's a good sign when you're not playing well and picking up points and hopefully when we play well we will still win."
