Norwich v Swansea preview

Norwich striker Gary Hooper will be hoping to keep his place in the starting XI at home to Swansea City on Sunday after scoring in the win over West Brom last time.

The summer signing returned to a starting berth at the Hawthorns and rewarded boss Chris Hughton with his third goal in the Canaries' last five games as Norwich won 2-0 to climb up to 14th in the Premier League table.

Skipper Sebastien Bassong goes into the game buoyed by the signing of a contract extension which will keep him at Carrow Road until June 2016.

For Swansea, Angel Rangel could be fit enough to return to the side.

The right-back has been out for a little over two weeks with a calf problem but is in contention to face the Canaries, with Ben Davies and Michu also likely to start.

Chico Flores, who picked up a knee injury in Thursday's 1-0 Europa League loss to St Gallen, will be suspended after picking up a fifth booking in the recent draw against Hull, meaning Jordi Amat is set to deputise.

Michel Vorm, who will have a knee operation in January, is one of three goalkeepers in the squad along with Gerhard Tremmel and teenager Gregor Zabret.
