Noseda hoping for Lincoln luck
Jeremy Noseda has his fingers crossed Consign will be blessed with a favourable draw in the William Hill Lincoln at Doncaster on Saturday week.
Stalls position is always a main talking point ahead of the first big race of the turf season and Noseda is hoping his four-year-old gets that essential bit of luck in the valuable handicap over the straight mile.
Consign had a pipe-opener on the Polytrack at Lingfield last month and it is all systems go for Town Moor.
"The aim is to go there. He needed his first run on the all-weather (this year)," the Newmarket trainer told At The Races.
"You need a lot of luck in the Lincoln, the draw and if we could get good ground on Lincoln day. With a good draw I think he will be very competitive."
Consign, who is currently set to carry 8st 9lb, is around a 25-1 shot for the Lincoln.
