Ntep opts to stay in France
Auxerre forward Paul-Georges Ntep has turned his back on a possible move to England by signing for Rennes.
The France U21 international will have a medical on Wednesday and is expected to sign a three-year contract in Brittany.
Ntep was on the radar of Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City, while he was also linked with Arsenal earlier this month.
The 21-year-old has scored 11 goals for second-tier Auxerre this season and has netted six times in seven appearances for France U21s.
