Nuttal joins UK coaching team
Former Commonwealth Games bronze medallist John Nuttall has been appointed endurance coach for the UK Athletics performance team.
Nuttall joins Terrence Mahon in taking UKA's endurance programme through to Rio 2016 and the 2017 World Championships in London.
The 45-year-old, is the former coach to 2010 European 10,000 metres silver medallist Chris Thompson and currently coaches European Indoor 3,000m champion Helen Clitheroe.
Nuttall said: "Over the past four years we've seen our endurance programme go from strength to strength; so many British endurance runners have benefited from training at altitude in Iten (Kenya) and Font Romeu (France).
"This has impacted on the success of the endurance programme on the track, cross country and road.
"I am looking forward to working alongside Terrence Mahon to build on what has been achieved in recent years for the next Olympic cycle to Rio 2016."
