O'Donnell ends playing career
Former Huddersfield forward Luke O'Donnell has retired from the sport.
The Australian prop, 33, was with the Giants between 2011 and the start of 2013, when he cut short his stay in England to head to the Sydney Roosters with whom he won the NRL.
The Grand Final has turned out to be the final game of a 215-match career.
"I've had some time to reflect and think about my future since the Grand Final and this definitely hasn't been an easy decision, but it's the right one," said O'Donnell.
"I'm so grateful for everything rugby league has given me. Each of the clubs I've played at have made me a better man and I've made so many friends along the way."
O'Donnell also played for New South Wales on five occasions and won 11 Test caps with Australia.
