O'Keefe extends Eagles stay

Crystal Palace youngster Stuart O'Keefe has signed a new three-year deal with the Championship club.

The 21-year-old midfielder has put pen to paper on a contract that keeps him at Selhurst Park until 2015.

O'Keefe formed a key part of the young Eagles side that reached the semi-finals of the Carling Cup and secured a regular place in the heart of midfield over the final six games of the season.

He told the club's official website: "I'm looking to push on again like I did at the end of last year.

"I like it here, I like everything about the club, it's a good place to push on.

"I was pleased to get 19 games (last year) and I'm hoping to have another good season and move forward with the club."
