Odemwingie weighs in to row

Former West Brom player Peter Odemwingie has called on striker Saido Berahino to consider his future position at The Hawthorns.

Odemwingie made his comments on a social network site following an incident at the weekend when Berahino was allegedly punched by a team-mate in the dressing room after the 3-3 draw with Cardiff.

In January 2013 Odemwingie had a high-profile and bitter falling-out with West Brom after he turned up for transfer talks at Queens Park Rangers without permission from his club.

The forward eventually left Albion last summer for Cardiff before moving to Stoke four months later in a swap deal for Kenwyne Jones.

Commenting on Saturday's events, Odemwingie said: "I see a repeat of my situation if he doesn't leave this summer. Senior pros ha ha."

West Brom have played down the incident and issued a statement on Wednesday evening after reports Berahino was considering legal action against a team-mate.

The 20-year-old said: "I am not taking legal action against any team-mate. I am only focusing on Saturday's game at Norwich."
