Talented two-year-old Olympic Glory has been privately sold by owner Julie Wood to Sheikh Joann Bin Hamad Al Thani.
The dual Group Two winner will remain with trainer Richard Hannon and will have his first race for new connections in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp on October 7.
"Olympic Glory has been bought to stay in the yard, and he will run in his new owner's colours in the Group One Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere at Longchamp on Sunday week and, hopefully, he will make up into a Guineas horse for next year," the Herridge trainer told www.richardhannonracing.tv.
Wood, for whom Olympic Glory finished second to Dawn Approach before winning the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket and the Vintage Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, wishes Sheikh Al Thani good luck for the future.
She said: "Olympic Glory has given us enormous pleasure this summer, and we sincerely hope that he proves equally successful for his new owners and that they have as much fun as we did."
