What are Team GB's chances? Following the display at the World Championships, confidence is sky high within the British camp. Double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington and Fran Halsall are perhaps the two best gold hopes along with Hannah Miley and Ellen Gandy. The lingo you might not know: Negative split - When an athlete swims the second half of the race slower than the first.

Did you know? Underwater swimming took place at the 1900 Games in Paris and medals were awarded for who could swim the furthest underwater without taking a breath.
