Charlie Longsdon is considering the options for Pendra after his second-place finish in Grade One company last weekend.
The five-year-old finished four and a half lengths adrift of winner Melodic Rendezvous in a race better known as the Tolworth Hurdle.
Previously a dual winner at Plumpton, Pendra could try handicap company as Longsdon tries to weigh up his Cheltenham Festival options.
"I'm not 100% sure on what we will do next," he said.
"We'll see how he is over the next week or so, but we could go for another good novice or a look at a handicap and then see where we should be heading at the Festival.
"We might look at a handicap as he's rated 139 at the moment, but what I will say is that he will keep improving and improving this year."
