P'boro v Leicester preview
Peterborough are without Scott Wootton for Saturday's Championship clash with Leicester at London Road.
Wootton was a surprise omission from the team that drew 2-2 at home with Burnley last Saturday.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson revealed this week that the on-loan Manchester United defender had suffered a hamstring injury in training and was back receiving treatment at the Premier League leaders.
Ferguson has options as regards partners alongside Gaby Zakuani at the heart of the defence, with Nathaniel Knight-Percival, Shaun Brisley, Michael Bostwick and Craig Alcock all capable of playing in the centre.
Ferguson says he is preparing for the game with George Boyd in his side. The long-serving midfielder, whose move to Nottingham Forest collapsed last week, could leave the club when the loan window opens on Friday.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has received good news on the injury front ahead of the game.
Midfielder Matty James and defender Liam Moore have recovered from knocks, while centre-backs Sean St Ledger and Zak Whitbread have returned to full training after lengthy injury absences.
St Ledger has been out since suffering a hamstring strain in October, while Whitbread has missed the last seven games with a calf problem.
Jeff Schlupp remains unavailable as the striker is still training with Manchester United.
