Palace land Ince and Ledley

Crystal Palace are confident they have completed the signings of Tom Ince and Joe Ledley at the end of a hectic transfer deadline day for the club.

Blackpool winger Ince has agreed to join the Eagles on loan for the remainder of the season, although the deal is subject to Premier League approval.

Palace also confirmed the signing of Celtic striker Joe Ledley on a permanent deal after the two clubs agreed a fee earlier in the day.

Palace chairman Steve Parish announced on Holmesdale Radio that the paperwork relating to the deals had been sent to the Premier League shortly before the transfer window closed at 11pm.

Parish revealed he had been working on the Ince deal for around eight months, and he was delighted to fend off competition from Stoke to get his man.

Ledley also left it late to sign a contract with Palace after flying to London from Glasgow late on deadline day.

Sky sources believe Ledley turned down an earlier offer from the Selhurst Park club, but Palace went back to the player with improved personal terms which were accepted.
