Palace seek Bolasie extension

Crystal Palace are in talks with Yannick Bolasie as they look to tie down the winger on a new long-term deal.

Bolasie has 18 months left on his current deal, but he has impressed new boss Tony Pulis, who now wants to see him commit his future to the Eagles.

The DR Congo international has been attracting interest from clubs in Italy, Germany and France, who have been checking on his progress, whilst a number of Palace's Premier League rivals were also monitoring his situation.

But now Palace have opened talks with Bolasie's representatives and a deal looks to be close.

Bolasie's agent John Sorzano told Sky Sports: "We are in talks with Crystal Palace.

"They want him to extend his deal and if all goes according to plan Yannick will sign his extension."

The 24-year-old has made 56 appearances for the Eagles since moving to Selhurst Park in 2012.
