Toulon winger Alexis Palisson has been ruled out for a month with a back injury, making him doubtful for France's November Tests.
The 25-year-old - capped 21 times - suffered the injury just minutes after coming on as a replacement in Saturday's 32-9 Top 14 defeat by French champions Toulouse.
His injury puts in doubt his chances of making the squad for the November home Test matches against Australia (November 10), Argentina a week later and Samoa on November 24.
