Partick v Ross County preview

Danny Seaborne is expected to go straight into the squad for Partick Thistle's first Scottish Premiership game of the season against Ross County.

The former Coventry and Southampton defender joined the Jags on a two-year deal on Monday and could make his debut at Firhill on Wednesday.

Most of Alan Archibald's squad are fit ahead of the visit of the Highlanders but the match comes too soon for Sean Welsh as he battles to recover from a persistent groin injury.

Ross County defender Steven Saunders is out of the trip to Glasgow after picking up a knock.

Seven players made their debuts as County lost to St Johnstone on Sunday - Jake Jervis, Antonio Reguero, Jim Fenlon, Tim Dreesen, Uros Celcer, Joe Cardle and Liam Boyce.

Jordi Balk, Ben Frempah and Rosario Latouchent will all be hoping for their first taste of domestic action.
