Partick v St Mirren preview

Partick Thistle head into their crunch Scottish Premiership clash with fellow play-off relegation rivals St Mirren at Firhill with an unchanged squad.

Defender Aaron Muirhead remains sidelined following knee surgery while Stephen O'Donnell (hip), Isaac Osbourne (ankle) and Sean Welsh (groin) also remain absent from the squad.

Thistle have the chance to leapfrog the Paisley club and move up to seventh ahead of Hibernian with a win on Friday night.

The visitors are just a point and two places ahead of 10th-placed Jags and will be able to call upon skipper Jim Goodwin after the club lodged an appeal against the red card the midfielder received against Hibs last weekend.

St Mirren's Slovakia goalkeeper Marian Kello has now recovered from his groin injury and is also available for selection.
