Pashley to remain in charge

Burnley have confirmed that caretaker manager Terry Pashley will remain in charge for Saturday trip to Cardiff.

A statement released by the npower Championship club on Thursday morning confirmed a successor to Eddie Howe is not expected to be named before the weekend.

Since Howe's decision to return to Bournemouth for family reasons earlier this month, youth team coach Pashley has masterminded back-to-back wins over Blackpool and Bristol City.
