Peach of a haul for Giant James

James Jones scored 27 points as the Manchester Giants got the better of the Sheffield Sharks in the British Basketball League on Friday night.

Jones' haul, and a further 10 from David Watts, helped the Lancashire club to a 99-87 success.

Elsewhere, Newcastle saw off Worcester 81-73.
