Penguins rally past Lightning

The Pittsburgh Penguins rallied to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 as Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin scored in the third period.

The struggling Lightning suffered a fifth straight loss as Chris Kunitz added his 12th of the season for Pittsburgh and James Neal scored an empty-net goal in the final minute.

Two goals by Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos took his league-leading total to 17.

Nazem Kadri earned points for a fifth straight game, getting a goal and an assist as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the struggling New Jersey Devils 4-2.

Kadri scored in the first period and assisted for Clarke MacArthur who netted in the third along with Jay McClement and Phil Kessel.

James Reimer made 28 saves for the winners.

Marek Zidlicky scored twice for New Jersey, both assisted by Ryan Carter.

The Phoenix Coyotes made it two 5-4 overtime defeats for the Anaheim Ducks in the space of three nights.

Oilver Ekman Larsson scored the decisive goal as the Coyotes came out on top 5-4 in overtime against the Ducks.

The Los Angeles Kings were 5-1 winners against the Nashville Predators.
