Permanent Boro deal for Ayala
Middlesbrough have completed the permanent signing of Norwich defender Daniel Ayala.
The defender, who has been loan from Norwich since October, joins on a three-and-a-half-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
Ayala has scored three times in 12 Championship starts at Boro, and the transfer marks the end of a frustrating two-and-a-half years at Carrow Road.
The Spaniard joined from Liverpool in August 2011 but suffered a serious knee injury the same month and made just 10 appearances for the club.
A season-long loan at Nottingham Forest in 2012-13 was also curtailed by injury.
