Director of football Steve Perryman is comfortable in hospital after feeling breathless while at Exeter's game against Sheffield United.
Perryman, Tottenham's record appearance holder and a once-capped England midfielder, was watching as his current side - already condemned to relegation - drew 2-2 with the Blades, who saw their hopes of automatic promotion ended with the result.
"Exeter City Director Of Football Steve Perryman was taken to hospital during today's match after feeling breathless," said a club statement.
"He is now comfortable in hospital."
