Petric enjoying Fulham life

Fulham striker Mladen Petric says he is enjoying life in London as he bids to improve his goal tally at the club.

Petric arrived at Craven Cottage last summer following his release by Hamburg and has gone on to make 15 appearances for the Londoners, scoring five goals.

Competition up front from Dimitar Berbatov and Hugo Rodallega has limited the 32-year-old's first-team chances and he admits he has not found his best goalscoring form.

But Croatia international Petric has adapted well to life in London since his move and is happy to stay.

He told Glas Slavonije: "London is an amazing city and I regret that I didn't come here even earlier.

"Quality of life is very high; this city is phenomenal for life.

"I'm happy if my wife and kids are happy and they all love it here. We live in Chelsea, we have everything at hand and I really cannot complain."

Of his recent form at Fulham, Petric added: "I could have scored more goals but, then again, my statistics would probably be better if I had played more.

"But I do not want to look for excuses. I will do my best to improve my numbers and that is all."
