Piasecki claims shooting gold
Pierre Edmond Piasecki took gold in the 10 metre air rifle as the Olympic shooting warm-up event continued at The Royal Artillery Barracks.
Piasecki, 26, came out on top in a youthful final at the ISSF World Cup, which is doubling as the Olympic test event in Woolwich.
The silver medal went to 22-year-old Sergy Rikhter of Israel with Belarussian Illa Charheika, 19, taking bronze.
"It's great to be shooting here in London, on the Olympic venue," said Charheika after the medal ceremony.
"I really hope I will be back in this final hall in July, at the Olympics."
It was another tough day for Great Britain's shooters who have yet to reach a final this week.
Olympic hopeful James Huckle, from Harlow, finished 40th and London's Kenny Parr was 62nd.
