Pierce lifts Nets past Heat

Paul Pierce scored 29 points as the Brooklyn Nets edged out Miami 96-95 for their third straight win over the Heat this season.

Mirza Teletovic backed up Pierce with 17 points off the bench for the Nets, who have a perfect 5-0 record against the Heat this season and pre-season.

Chris Bosh scored 24 points for the Heat, taking him past the 15,000 career mark.

Blake Griffin's big day helped the Los Angeles Clippers to their ninth straight win, 111-98 over their Pacific Division rival Golden State Warriors.

Griffin had 30 points and 15 rebounds, while Danny Granger contributed 18 points from the bench.

Patty Mills had 15 points off the bench to lead six San Antonio players in double figures as the Spurs beat the Portland Trail Blazers 103-90.
