Pochettino: Talks on hold

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino has again refused to talk about his future, insisting talks will take place over the summer.

Pochettino has just 12 months left on his current deal at St Mary's - but he is being strongly linked with jobs elsewhere.

Tottenham are widely reported to be very keen on luring the Argentine to White Hart Lane, whilst French giants Monaco have also been linked.

But Pochettino - who is set to guide Southampton to a top-eight finish - is reluctant to talk about his future.

"I am not really one to talk about my personal situation. I don't really like to talk about my own contractual situation," Pochettino stated.

"I am just focused on being manager of this team and doing what is best for this team.

"I understand all the rumours surrounding me and the future of the players but these things will be spoken about at the end of the season.

"It is only normal that these things will come up.

"I still have one year on my contract and for the moment we are busy planning the pre-season and looking towards the future."
