Pocock re-signs with Wallabies
Wallabies flanker David Pocock has signed with the Australian Rugby Union for a further three years it was announced on Friday.
Matt Carroll, acting ARU chief executive, confirmed that Pocock had agreed to terms until the end of 2015.
Earlier this season he left the Western Force to sign with Super 15 rivals the ACT Brumbies.
Since making his debut against New Zealand in 2008, the 24-year-old has played 45 tests for Australia. He has also twice been nominated as IRB international player of the year.
After being named to captain the Wallabies for the first time, Australia collapsed to a loss against Scotland.
He went on to lead the Wallabies to a 3-0 home series win over Wales before injuring his knee in August against the All Blacks which required surgery.
