Charlton manager Chris Powell wants to send back-up goalkeeper John Sullivan out on loan so he can "get some game time".
The 24-year-old spent the majority of last season on the bench behind regular number one Ben Hamer and Powell wants him to get some more match action under his belt.
"John was excellent for us last year and played a few games, but we want him to play regularly and we're hoping something might happen there," he said.
"He's still our keeper and is coming out to Spain with us, but long-term we'd like him to get some game time."
Powell has handed a trial to Spanish keeper Jacobo Sanz Ovejero, 28.
"He has come to our attention through various people and he has got good experience," added Powell.
