Powell watching Liege loanee

Manager Chris Powell will be keeping an eye on new loan signing Anil Koc as the midfielder gets to grips with life at Charlton.

Belgian midfielder Koc, 18, has agreed a deal until June 30 and joins Standard Liege team-mates Astrit Ajdarevic and Yohann Thuram-Ulien at The Valley.

Manager Chris Powell said: "He's a young player so he'll be more with the under-21 squad.

"He's a wide player so we'll see how that develops for him. It's a different environment, he's already trained and he'll be involved with Jason Euell's squad and we'll see him with us as well.

"He doesn't speak much English and obviously with the physical nature of the Championship we need to make sure if he's ever involved with us he'll be ready for that."
