Pressley content with point

Coventry manager Steven Pressley was delighted with a clean sheet in his side's 0-0 draw at home to Shrewsbury on Sunday.

In a game of few openings Shrews striker Tom Eaves was guilty of missing two good chances while David McAllister almost stole the three points for Town.

"I think the run of disappointing results has affected us a little bit no doubt about that," said Pressley.

"In the final third we weren't as potent but it was very important that we ended that run and the pleasing thing is we didn't lose the game.

"We kept our first clean sheet since about November time, so that gives us a foundation following some disappointing results. Confidence comes from results so as I said it's a good foundation to build upon.

"I think it's the first time we've had two striker s on the park since Rotherham on the first of January.

"I think that when you lose your two strikers that have scored 30-plus goals for you, of course it's going to affect the team. The team lost a little bit of confidence but it is about rebuilding that."
