Preston v Rotherham preview

Team news for Saturday's League One play-off semi-final clash between Preston North End and Rotherham at Deepdale (kick-off 5.15pm).

Preston will have Tom Clarke available for the first leg of their League One play-off semi-final against Rotherham.

The defender has missed North End's last two fixtures due to a calf injury and a virus but will be back in Simon Grayson's ranks at Deepdale, giving the Lilywhites a full complement of players to choose from.

Grayson said on Thursday that he knew 80 per cent of his team and the likes of midfielder Joel Byrom have returned from loan spells to swell his numbers.

Full-back Scott Wiseman played 90 minutes in the defeat to Crewe last weekend and has shown no adverse reaction to his knee injury.

Rotherham are expected to recall Kieran Agard, Alex Revell and Nicky Adams to the starting XI at Preston in the League One play-off semi-final first leg on Saturday.

Agard and Revell dropped to the bench in last week's 2-1 win at Swindon in preparation for the Deepdale clash, while Adams had a bug and did not travel with the squad to Wiltshire.

Wes Thomas, who scored both goals last week, Tom Hitchcock and Richard Brindley are likely to drop out.

Richie Smallwood serves the final game of his three-match ban, but Mark Bradley (knee) will play no part in the play-offs.
